ABOUT

Over the years, I've picked up a lot of skills.  I can tailor clothing, construct saddles, or do fine carpentry.  If it's made out of leather, fabric, or wood, I can probably make it.  If I could call myself anything, it would be a craftsman.  The same could be said about my fiction.  The writer's craft is very analogous to other types of crafts.  It takes dedication, patience, and skill that cannot come without applying oneself to study and practice.

Professionally (apart from my fiction writing), I am pursuing an academic career in History.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a Master's in History, and I'm currently pursuing my Ph.D in U.S. History.  I should complete my dissertation in a year or two.  Consequently, I am writing in nonfiction as well, under my own name.
